Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau

On Saturday, March 19th we traveled south down to almost Switzerland to go see the castle that inspired the Walt Disney Castle.  It was pretty cool to see the outside but a total rip off to pay to go see the inside.  The castle was not finished before the king died so it is still unfinished with not a whole lot to see.  But it was still cool, but again it was cloudy that day so from the look out point we were not able to see the castle but it did clear before we left so we were able to see it up on the hill.  Also, we saw the castle of Kind Ludwigs parents which is really close by called Hohenschwangau.  We didn't get close but it looked pretty cool from far away.  Here are some pictures:

 This was the look out point a few miles away from the castle though since it was foggy (or since we were literally in a cloud on top of the mountain) we could not see the castle from here but it was still a pretty spot.

Despite the clouds and the cold it was a pretty cool castle to see.
